We came to look at this beautiful marina a year ago the weekend before the 4th of July and instantly knew this was where we wanted to be. The marina is such a gorgeous place with wonderful amenities including a full kitchen and huge dining room and upstairs Clubhouse that is so warm and cozy it just makes you feel at home. The swimming pool and gazebo that overlook the water are breathtaking. The management staff and yacht club members welcomed us with open arms we have since become such good friends with everybody there it’s like a second family at the lake This is one of Smith Mountain Lakes best kept secrets and as far as we’re concerned this is where we will be as long as we are on Smith Mountain Lake.

We love the people, the facilities and the location of this family-friendly Marina. No other marina in the area offers the same security, quality of facilities, cleanliness and service of Pelican Point.

Great views from anywhere on the property. Lots of amenities and well-maintained. Management is friendly, responds promptly, and is available when needed. We are all like family at Pelican Point!

We love being at PPYC! The grounds are beautiful and amenities are plentiful! The facilities are very clean and the staff is extremely friendly! We love having the clubhouse for cooking meals, watching movies and enjoying fires in the fireplace when the weather is cooler. The charcoal grills and clubhouse make for a fabulous gathering place for multiple families, especially in the evenings. The kids can swim and play while the adults cook, play corn hole and socialize. Having the option of the salt water pool or the beach to cool off in is really great! Our son really loves all the choices of activities; swimming, kayaking, sailing, fishing, etc. We love the peaceful environment and the friendly people!
